Marcu Grădinaru in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Severiano Bastian, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Angels Team booed when Hoghiz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vintilă Logofătu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute of the match Alin Berechet shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mugur Burtescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidiu Mârza got free with Severiano Bastian in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Angels Team booed when Hoghiz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niculae Cârțan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Roch Haskiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Angels Team getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Panait Alb hit a great ball. Mugur Burtescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Antohi's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcu Grădinaru in the 47th minute of play forced Hoghiz's goalkeeper Severiano Bastian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuel Antohi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Emanuel Antohi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugur Burtescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Antohi got free with Mugur Burtescu in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hoghiz's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alin Berechet in the 58th minute. With an all-out effort, Hoghiz's Mugur Burtescu threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emanuel Antohi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Severiano Bastian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcu Grădinaru in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Angels Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matei Căplescu to maneuver through the defense. Roch Haskiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 71 played minutes Hoghiz got a freekick which was hit by Gigi Păvăloae. In the 78th minute, Emanuel Antohi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hoghiz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Panait Alb was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 88 minutes had been played. In the 88th minute, Panait Alb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alin Berechet came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Hoghiz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alin Berechet couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Antohi in the 92nd minute of play forced Angels Team's goalkeeper Mugur Burtescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Antohi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
