With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fidel Ortega in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iacob Codrea saved Doxa Beregsau Mare from getting behind. A nice corner shot did that Lasse Fure got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Iacob Codrea quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 13 minutes of play, FuRy StaRs's Sever Moldovan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 16th minute, Valeriu Buzgar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Emanuel Cimpoieru, passed just outside the right post. Fidel Ortega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, FuRy StaRs's Emanuel Cimpoieru got control of the ball when Francisc Mihăescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iacob Codrea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lasse Fure, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Eric Martinescu came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the FuRy StaRs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Martinescu couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the game, FuRy StaRs's Fidel Ortega nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iacob Codrea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fidel Ortega to strike the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Cimpoieru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charilaos Triantafyllou in the 52nd minute of the match. FuRy StaRs's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
