Spectators: 7963 (Terracing: 5974, Seating: 1831, VIP seats: 158) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Iacob Iliuță got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, -BZF- Chimia Buzau's Marian Gorunescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciprian Tunaru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Marian Gorunescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Carlsberg's Iacob Iliuță was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 8th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. FC Carlsberg's Ciprian Tunaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sentot Likumahua in the 14th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Marian Gorunescu notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of FC Carlsberg's Ciprian Tunaru. Ciprian Tunaru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Radu Zdrobău kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Trpimir Čaplar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iacob Iliuță, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Sentot Likumahua kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, -BZF- Chimia Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Liviu Nae came free, but Trpimir Čaplar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Marian Gorunescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciprian Tunaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 minutes of play, -BZF- Chimia Buzau's Marian Gorunescu made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciprian Tunaru was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the game, -BZF- Chimia Buzau's Sentot Likumahua nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciprian Tunaru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. In the 43rd minute Marian Gorunescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciprian Tunaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half -BZF- Chimia Buzau were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

-BZF- Chimia Buzau's Cristinel Elian was substituted for Marian Gorunescu. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristinel Elian to make the kick off. Cristinel Elian took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciprian Tunaru. Ciprian Tunaru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. When Emanuel Hălmăgeanu came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the -BZF- Chimia Buzau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Hălmăgeanu couldn't finish the play. A collision led to -BZF- Chimia Buzau getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Daniel Mihăilă hit a great ball. Iacob Iliuță scored 2-6 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Trpimir Čaplar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 2-7 when Cristinel Elian sped through FC Carlsberg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ciprian Tunaru. Cristinel Elian's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Ciprian Tunaru skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cristinel Elian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Ciprian Tunaru made a huge save. Emanuel Hălmăgeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ciprian Tunaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristinel Elian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dragoş Calciu made in the 84th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Nicodim Ciorogaru. FC Carlsberg's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Cristinel Elian scored to the left of an out of position Ciprian Tunaru, making the score, 2-9. In the 96th minute, Emanuel Hălmăgeanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. -BZF- Chimia Buzau's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
