Spectators: 7947 (Terracing: 5961, Seating: 1828, VIP seats: 158) Sebastian Jilăveanu made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd match minute, REPUBLICII -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leontin Curteanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute, Vali Piţurcă made a precise shot to the right of Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem. REPUBLICII -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Eduard Angheloiu took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for -BZF- Viitorul Buzau! When the match had been going on for 18 minutes, REPUBLICII -MM-'s Horia Muscă got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cazimir Papadima. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nichifor Carp during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Nichifor Carp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's Cazimir Papadima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save -BZF- Viitorul Buzau from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd match minute, REPUBLICII -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Paveliuc to maneuver through the defense. Claudiu Negrițoiu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem. REPUBLICII -MM-'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sebastian Jilăveanu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cazimir Papadima came out and tried to block the shot, but Sebastian Jilăveanu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 41st minute. -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's Cazimir Papadima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save -BZF- Viitorul Buzau from getting a goal against them. REPUBLICII -MM-'s Corneliu Ulici suffered a concussion after 46 minutes and had to leave the field. Horia Răducanu hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eduard Angheloiu to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, REPUBLICII -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nichifor Carp to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Claudiu Negrițoiu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Eduard Angheloiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Sebastian Jilăveanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cazimir Papadima was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Sebastian Jilăveanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's Cazimir Papadima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Gherdan in the 69th minute of play. Eduard Angheloiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem having to interfere. Vasile Andriescu charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vasile Andriescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Angheloiu in the 78th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Leontin Curteanu made a precise shot to the right of Cazimir Papadima. -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Nicodim Vătăşel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Jilăveanu kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After 92 played minutes -BZF- Viitorul Buzau got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Angheloiu.
