The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Real Blue's Francisc Hodorog got a free kick in the 4th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Real Blue's Silviu Stoican sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciprian Tunaru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in FC Carlsberg's zone, Silviu Stoican stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After the first half Real Blue were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silviu Stoican made a kick off. A hard shot 70 in the game by Silviu Stoican from a close distance when the talented Ciprian Tunaru managed to make a qualified save. FC Carlsberg's players were relieved. Francisc Hodorog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ciprian Tunaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silviu Stoican in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciprian Tunaru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ciprian Tunaru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silviu Stoican's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. When Silviu Stoican in the 95th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Ciprian Tunaru kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-6 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole.
