In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Navigatii Bacău's goalkeeper Cristian Mirciu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Mirciu made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Marian Gorunescu sent off a good shot on target. After 15 played minutes Navigatii Bacău got a freekick which was hit by Konrad Ziemniak. Thanks to some nice moves Sentot Likumahua could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Cristian Mirciu however easily saved by the left post. 19 minutes into the match, -BZF- Chimia Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Rywin came free, but Trpimir Čaplar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. -BZF- Chimia Buzau's Trpimir Čaplar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jannik Roblaa in the 21st minute of play. Cristian Mirciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Gorunescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inocencio Barea during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Inocencio Barea kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Navigatii Bacău's goalkeeper Cristian Mirciu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sentot Likumahua. Cristian Mirciu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, -BZF- Chimia Buzau's Daniel Feroiu got a free kick in the 54th minute. Navigatii Bacău's Jannik Roblaa got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trpimir Čaplar made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Horaţiu Rotariu sent off a good shot on target. In the 60th minute Cristinel Elian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Mirciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Navigatii Bacău's goal looked a bit too open when Cristinel Elian came free, but Cristian Mirciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Mirciu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristinel Elian's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Emiliano Rodas charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emiliano Rodas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emiliano Rodas kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Nicodim Baștină took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristian Mirciu. Navigatii Bacău's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, -BZF- Chimia Buzau's goalkeeper Trpimir Čaplar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jannik Roblaa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Elian in the 68th minute of play forced Navigatii Bacău's goalkeeper Cristian Mirciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Navigatii Bacău's Cristian Mirciu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristinel Elian in the 70th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristinel Elian in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Mirciu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Cristinel Elian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristian Mirciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristinel Elian, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Cristinel Elian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd match minute, Navigatii Bacău was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Barea to maneuver through the defense. In the 94thth minute of the game Cristinel Elian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Navigatii Bacău's Cristian Mirciu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Navigatii Bacău's Cristian Mirciu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristinel Elian in the 97th minute of play. Navigatii Bacău's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
