After a rather tough play, Brașov HooliganS's Emil Loga got a free kick in the 4th minute. After having played for 5 minutes, Silviu Stoican managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Blue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silviu Stoican was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Real Blue's Francisc Hodorog got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute, Horia Teaşcă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horia Teaşcă scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vlad Păun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelian Papaiani in the 14th minute of play forced Real Blue's goalkeeper Vlad Păun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eitel Patrzek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Ailincai in the 18th minute of play. In the 25th minute Brașov HooliganS were awarded a corner. Gavril Argăseală went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Real Blue booed when Brașov HooliganS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Șerban Gherasim didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Francisc Hodorog managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Blue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisc Hodorog was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 40 minutes into the game, Horia Teaşcă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Vlad Păun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dragoş Burdulea kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Șerban Gherasim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stelian Papaiani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vlad Păun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horia Teaşcă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Horia Teaşcă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Horia Teaşcă managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brașov HooliganS's supporters rose to their feet, but Horia Teaşcă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vlad Păun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eitel Patrzek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silviu Stoican, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Brașov HooliganS's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Todericiu came free, but Eitel Patrzek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandu Gruescu charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandu Gruescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 70 played minutes Brașov HooliganS got a freekick which was hit by Sandu Gruescu. 72 minutes into the match, Brașov HooliganS's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Ailincai came free, but Eitel Patrzek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74thth minute of the game Stelian Papaiani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Blue's Vlad Păun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 78th minute of the match, Horia Teaşcă got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vlad Păun was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Șerban Gherasim fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brașov HooliganS's protests and gave Șerban Gherasim a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Real Blue booed when Brașov HooliganS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Șerban Gherasim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brașov HooliganS's Horia Teaşcă got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Francisc Hodorog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Doru Bârlă managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Blue's supporters rose to their feet, but Doru Bârlă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eitel Patrzek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Brașov HooliganS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Brașov HooliganS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
