Eitel Patrzek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leontin Curteanu in the 7th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Stelian Papaiani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem. REPUBLICII -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stelian Papaiani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Albert Gherdan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Eitel Patrzek made a huge save. A collision led to REPUBLICII -MM- getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Corneliu Ulici hit a great ball. Stelian Papaiani struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brașov HooliganS. In the 21st minute, Horia Teaşcă made a precise shot to the right of Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem. REPUBLICII -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in REPUBLICII -MM-'s zone, Șerban Gherasim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem came out of the goal and Șerban Gherasim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th match minute, Brașov HooliganS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Șerban Gherasim to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 26 minutes, Albert Gherdan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. REPUBLICII -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Albert Gherdan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Șerban Gherasim in the 28th minute of play forced REPUBLICII -MM-'s goalkeeper Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Șerban Gherasim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the REPUBLICII -MM- defense, Șerban Gherasim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem. The REPUBLICII -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute, Loukas Chatzipetrou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 played minutes, Brașov HooliganS's Gavril Argăseală shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brașov HooliganS reached it. In the 48th minute Stelian Papaiani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stelian Papaiani made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Albert Gherdan managed to get in a good position for a shot. REPUBLICII -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Gherdan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eitel Patrzek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 55th match minute, Brașov HooliganS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horia Teaşcă to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Brașov HooliganS booed when REPUBLICII -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nichifor Carp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gavril Argăseală's shot from long distance in the 62nd minute was not bad at all, but REPUBLICII -MM-'s Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. 64 minutes into the game, Șerban Gherasim recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem. Șerban Gherasim showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. 70 minutes into the game, Albert Gherdan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. REPUBLICII -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brașov HooliganS the free kick. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Șerban Gherasim in the 74th minute of play. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Șerban Gherasim showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 79 minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Horia Teaşcă could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, REPUBLICII -MM-'s Sebastian Jilăveanu got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Nichifor Carp's late challenge caught a Brașov HooliganS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nichifor Carp helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, one of REPUBLICII -MM-:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for REPUBLICII -MM-. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stelian Papaiani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horia Teaşcă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vasile Andriescu fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored REPUBLICII -MM-'s protests and gave Vasile Andriescu a yellow card for diving instead. 97 minutes into the match, REPUBLICII -MM-'s goalkeeper Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horia Teaşcă. Brașov HooliganS played a much better game than REPUBLICII -MM- and deserved their victory. The REPUBLICII -MM- players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
