Petru Pamfil scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vlad Păun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Real Blue's zone, Petru Pamfil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vlad Păun came out of the goal and Petru Pamfil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the -BZF- Viitorul Buzau defense, Romeo Ailincai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dumitru Corbea. The -BZF- Viitorul Buzau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dumitru Corbea should have stopped the shot. In the 27th minute, Petru Pamfil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The -BZF- Viitorul Buzau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 30 minutes into the match, Real Blue's goalkeeper Vlad Păun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petru Pamfil. Petru Pamfil took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vlad Păun. Vlad Păun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doru Bârlă in the 38th minute of play forced -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's goalkeeper Dumitru Corbea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Ailincai came free, but Dumitru Corbea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Blue's goalkeeper Vlad Păun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferdinand Şumălan made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Real Blue's goal looked a bit too open when Petru Pamfil came free, but Vlad Păun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Niculae Luican during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to -BZF- Viitorul Buzau getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Niculae Luican hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silviu Stoican got free with Dumitru Corbea in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute, Ferdinand Şumălan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's Claudiu Negrițoiu got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Dumitru Corbea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Ailincai in the 93rd minute of play.
