The corner was taken by Panait Piţurcă in the 4th minute. Sentot Likumahua made a great header on -BZF- Chimia Buzau's corner, it was just that REPUBLICII -MM-'s Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem managed to reach the ball for a save. Leontin Curteanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Trpimir Čaplar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marian Gorunescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, REPUBLICII -MM-'s Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem got control of the ball when Sentot Likumahua tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Sebastian Jilăveanu came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the REPUBLICII -MM- fans jumped to their feet. The supporters of -BZF- Chimia Buzau booed when REPUBLICII -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasile Andriescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marian Gorunescu took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 32 minutes into the game, Vasile Andriescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. REPUBLICII -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave -BZF- Chimia Buzau the free kick. In the 32nd match minute, REPUBLICII -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasile Andriescu to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, REPUBLICII -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Marian Gorunescu came free, but Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horia Muscă kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Panait Piţurcă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem made a huge save. If Sentot Likumahua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind REPUBLICII -MM-'s goalkeeper Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, -BZF- Chimia Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Gherdan came free, but Trpimir Čaplar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trpimir Čaplar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leontin Curteanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

-BZF- Chimia Buzau made a substitution. Leontin Avram replaced Sentot Likumahua. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristinel Elian to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, REPUBLICII -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Leontin Avram came free, but Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Cristinel Elian put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem. In the 59th match minute, REPUBLICII -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasile Andriescu to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Jilăveanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trpimir Čaplar having to interfere. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristinel Elian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Elian in the 78th minute of play forced REPUBLICII -MM-'s goalkeeper Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. REPUBLICII -MM-'s Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leontin Avram in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Cristinel Elian notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of REPUBLICII -MM-'s Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in REPUBLICII -MM-'s zone, Leontin Avram stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem came out of the goal and Leontin Avram tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leontin Avram fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in REPUBLICII -MM-'s zone, Leontin Avram stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem came out of the goal and Leontin Avram tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leontin Avram scored 5-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to REPUBLICII -MM- getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Corneliu Ulici hit a great ball. In the 98th minute of the match Leontin Avram sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem skillfully saved the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. -BZF- Chimia Buzau fully deserved thier win.
