Spectators: 8007 (Terracing: 6007, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) Calistrat Zubaşcu came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Old Boys's Iacob Drăgoescu. But to his dismay, Iacob Drăgoescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romeo Căliman during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Romeo Căliman hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Pisicile Albe defense, Iacob Drăgoescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Calistrat Zubaşcu. The Pisicile Albe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Calistrat Zubaşcu should have stopped the shot. Calistrat Zubaşcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gelu Feraru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adan Aureo charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adan Aureo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pisicile Albe getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Adan Aureo hit a great ball. Pisicile Albe's Calistrat Zubaşcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gelu Feraru in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Marin Rednic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Pisicile Albe's goal looked a bit too open when Dumitru Surugiu came free, but Calistrat Zubaşcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Dumitru Surugiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Zubaşcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calistrat Zubaşcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gelu Feraru in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pisicile Albe's Romeo Căliman got a free kick in the 28th minute. Calistrat Zubaşcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dumitru Surugiu in the 30th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gelu Feraru in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Calistrat Zubaşcu saved Pisicile Albe from getting behind. Calistrat Zubaşcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilian Badea in the 35th minute of play. Calistrat Zubaşcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dumitru Surugiu in the 37th minute of play. Old Boys's Emilian Badea got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sergiu Dacian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Calistrat Zubaşcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Old Boys's Iacob Drăgoescu in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pisicile Albe's goalie prevented a goal. The Pisicile Albe players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Old Boys were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iacob Drăgoescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Romeo Căliman was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 51 minutes had been played. Calistrat Zubaşcu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emilian Badea showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 55 minute of play. After 62 played minutes Old Boys got a freekick which was hit by Sever Podgoreanu. 66 minutes into the match, Pisicile Albe's goalkeeper Calistrat Zubaşcu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iacob Drăgoescu. Cosmin Cernea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelian Hidiș having to interfere. After 76 minutes Pisicile Albe's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pär Rolfsson who took care of the corner kick. Dumitru Surugiu made a great header on Old Boys's corner, it was just that Pisicile Albe's Calistrat Zubaşcu managed to reach the ball for a save. 78 minutes into the match, Pisicile Albe's goalkeeper Calistrat Zubaşcu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emilian Badea. The supporters of Old Boys booed when Pisicile Albe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilian Itu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Pisicile Albe's goalkeeper Calistrat Zubaşcu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pär Rolfsson. Pisicile Albe's Calistrat Zubaşcu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Pisicile Albe from getting a goal against them. Dumitru Surugiu scored 0-5 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Calistrat Zubaşcu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Calistrat Zubaşcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iacob Drăgoescu in the 90th minute of play. With his leg Calistrat Zubaşcu managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Old Boys's Iacob Drăgoescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Emilian Badea took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Calistrat Zubaşcu to make any attempt to save it. Old Boys's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
