In the 6th minute Paul Şiman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Zubaşcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, Dennis Rago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Petruț Pașcanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. When Mugur Agulescu came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Pisicile Albe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mugur Agulescu couldn't finish the play. Campia Turzii were furious when Cornel Moșoiu was red carded, 43 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 48th minute Adam Dragota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Zubaşcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Pisicile Albe players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. I.S. Campia Turzii were winning 0-1.

I.S. Campia Turzii's Sabin Grigoriu was substituted for Paul Şiman. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mugur Agulescu made a kick off. I.S. Campia Turzii's Petruț Aplugăriței came free and shot a quick shot against goal 61 minutes in the game, fortunately Calistrat Zubaşcu had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Calistrat Zubaşcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Dragota, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Cosmin Chindriș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugur Agulescu in the 67th minute of play. I.S. Campia Turzii's Romeo Chiuzbaian got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Bartlomiej Porajewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, Petruț Aplugăriței made a precise shot to the right of Calistrat Zubaşcu. Pisicile Albe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Campia Turzii supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing I.S. Campia Turzii would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
