Luca Halipa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudiu Coidum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47thth minute of the game Claudiu Coidum who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AS Fulgerul Ploieşti's Luca Halipa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Viorel Ştoia kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nae Boteanu was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudiu Coidum in the 55th managed to get into a good position.
