The supporters of AS Fulgerul Ploieşti booed when Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sorin Lipan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Iacobeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Ştati having to interfere. Luca Halipa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionuț Nicolescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Dacian Burnei was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luca Halipa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nicodim Zogreanu took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luca Halipa. Luca Halipa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Costică Brânzaș hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Augustin Timaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ionuț Nicolescu hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The AS Fulgerul Ploieşti players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Nae Boteanu made the kick off in the second half. If Costică Brânzaș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, AS Fulgerul Ploieşti's Pompiliu Cristocea got a free kick in the 58th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s zone, Nae Boteanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernest Ştati came out of the goal and Nae Boteanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martin Iacobeanu kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Dacian Burnei shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 65th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Luca Halipa but with some difficulty. AS Fulgerul Ploieşti's Luca Halipa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Călin Cotoi in the 67th minute of play. When Ionuț Nicolescu came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionuț Nicolescu couldn't finish the play. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Ion Iftodi was substituted for Costică Brânzaș. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Luca Halipa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 79 minutes into the match, Nicodim Zogreanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luca Halipa. AS Fulgerul Ploieşti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicodim Zogreanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Luca Halipa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionuț Nicolescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the game, Ion Iftodi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AS Fulgerul Ploieşti the free kick. Ion Iftodi hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ionuț Nicolescu got free with Luca Halipa in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 88 minutes into the match, AS Fulgerul Ploieşti's goal looked a bit too open when Ionuț Nicolescu came free, but Luca Halipa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augustin Timaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ernest Ştati tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicodim Zogreanus short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Luca Halipa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The AS Fulgerul Ploieşti fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
