Dinu Taşcău showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Nae in the 6th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Han Lin Zhen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dinu Taşcău. The goal made the score 1-0. Dinu Taşcău took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Han Lin Zhen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dinu Taşcău showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Han Lin Zhen in the 14th minute of the match. After 15 minutes, Frédson Arantes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cocoloco and the ZION players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Gilbert Ogrodowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petru Hristea charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petru Hristea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Petru Hristea kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Frédson Arantes scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dacian Enachescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute, Hugon Figlewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, ZION's Gilbert Ogrodowicz got a free kick in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bedih Hatırlı in the 42nd minute of play forced ZION's goalkeeper Dacian Enachescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ZION's Albert Nae came free and shot a quick shot against goal 44 minutes in the game, fortunately Dinu Taşcău had problems saving as it came toward the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albert Nae got free with Dinu Taşcău in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Frédson Arantes made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Cocoloco getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Ioan Fundătoreanu hit a great ball. Albert Nae recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dacian Enachescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frédson Arantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Albert Nae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinu Taşcău having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Cocoloco's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Nae came free, but Dinu Taşcău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dinu Taşcău came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by ZION's Albert Nae. But to his dismay, Albert Nae quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ionel Dănciulescu got free with Dacian Enachescu in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Albert Nae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinu Taşcău having to interfere. Dinu Taşcău took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Nae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ZION's Albert Nae got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albert Nae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Dinu Taşcău tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dinu Taşcău stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albert Nae's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Rubinho Goiano hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Avram Vizitiu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dinu Taşcău read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Cocoloco's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
