Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrian Antoniu to make the kick off. With a little luck, Timbau CSM's Cosmin Roman got control of the ball when Cristi Zăraşcu tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Cristi Zăraşcu took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Cosmin Roman to make any attempt to save it. UFC Mahmudie were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Timbau CSM's much stronger midfield.
