Spectators: 8007 (Terracing: 6007, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) Vasile Ciorbea made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Timbau CSM's goalkeeper Cosmin Roman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Nicu Pătru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicu Pătru in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cosmin Roman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Remus Gâgea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cosmin Roman having to make a save. Nicu Pătru kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Nicolae Dobrin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octavian Vătăşel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Octavian Vătăşel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elemér Udvarhelyi went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After 30 minutes of play, Pitangeles's Nicu Pătru made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cosmin Roman was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 33rd minute, Timbau CSM's Cristi Ionășescu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Octavian Vătăşel. Octavian Vătăşel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. 39 minutes into the match, Elemér Udvarhelyi notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Pitangeles's Octavian Vătăşel. Octavian Vătăşel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nicu Pătru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosmin Roman having to interfere. In the 46thth minute of the game Cristi Ionășescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pitangeles's Octavian Vătăşel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elemér Udvarhelyi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Elemér Udvarhelyi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octavian Vătăşel was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. In the 54th minute of the match, Nicu Pătru got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cosmin Roman was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Silviu Tobă's late challenge caught a Pitangeles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silviu Tobă helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th minute, Silviu Tobă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Nechifor Ispas came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Timbau CSM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nechifor Ispas couldn't finish the play. Cosmin Roman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasile Ciorbea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Timbau CSM booed when Pitangeles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moise Aldulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nechifor Ispas in the 65th minute of play forced Pitangeles's goalkeeper Octavian Vătăşel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Timbau CSM's goalkeeper Cosmin Roman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Cristi Ionășescu came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Timbau CSM fans jumped to their feet. A collision led to Pitangeles getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Moise Aldulescu hit a great ball. When Ferdinand Jupân came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Timbau CSM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinand Jupân couldn't finish the play. Octavian Vătăşel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristi Ionășescu in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pitangeles's goalkeeper Octavian Vătăşel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristi Ionășescu in the 96th minute of play forced Pitangeles's goalkeeper Octavian Vătăşel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
