But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionuț Nicolescu couldn't finish the play. Ernest Ştati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Kárpáti in the 4th minute of play. Leonard Cartianu hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Desiderio Etor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionuț Nicolescu in the 7th minute of the match. After 7 minutes of play, Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Ionuț Nicolescu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Desiderio Etor was left in no man's land by his defense there! Costică Brânzaș took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Desiderio Etor. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Desiderio Etor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Cartianu, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Desiderio Etor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Costică Brânzaș's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute of the match Dinamo-Geo BTF. got a corner. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alex Kárpáti ran over to the corner to take the kick. Desiderio Etor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicodim Zogreanu in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Luk Reyniers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The nice shot from Zoltán Újfalussy in the 45thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Ernest Ştati had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. The corner led Dinamo-Geo BTF.'s Mario Abancens to fire away a dangerous shot which Ernest Ştati despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Ionuț Nicolescu got free with Desiderio Etor in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
