Krzysztof Walczyk hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. English Fire's Dragoş Puric played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Trifănucă in the 44th minute of play. After 69 minutes of play, English Fire's Cazimir Ciulei made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauro Catarinense was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mauro Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Vincente in the 75th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nunez Vincente in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Catarinense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Alan Eenmaa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dragoş Puric was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Viorel Brănet charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viorel Brănet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Viorel Brănet hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Manuel Trifănucă struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Dragoş Puric didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UNIREA FOCSANI. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
