AS Florilor - BV's Gigi Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Eenmaa in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, UNIREA FOCSANI's Filip Bălțăteanu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Filip Bălțăteanu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of UNIREA FOCSANI protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Filip Bălțăteanu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 36th match minute, UNIREA FOCSANI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Bălțăteanu to maneuver through the defense. Ionel Gâlcă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcu Moiș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Gigi Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Eenmaa, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After 84 minutes, Alan Eenmaa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UNIREA FOCSANI and the AS Florilor - BV players grew even worse after the yellow card. The UNIREA FOCSANI players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
