Spectators: 8011 (Terracing: 6010, Seating: 1842, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Costin Babarada started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Manuel Pantiș got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vali Papaiani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Dacian Gugulanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the FC Vlahuță defense, Manuel Pantiș kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dacian Gugulanu. The FC Vlahuță fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dacian Gugulanu should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, FC Vlahuță's Dacian Gugulanu got control of the ball when Manuel Pantiș tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marius Niculescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomir Czerwinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Pantiș in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dacian Gugulanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marius Niculescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomir Czerwinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Bălășoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. FC BRADUL -MM-'s Ionel Pârvulescu got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manuel Pantiș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Manuel Pantiș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

FC BRADUL -MM-'s Costică Hârșu was substituted for Valeriu Zăraşcu. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Pantiș was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to FC BRADUL -MM- getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Edu Ramos hit a great ball. Manuel Pantiș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC BRADUL -MM-'s Costel Pacuraru was substituted for Manuel Pantiș. Marius Niculescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petru Bute, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dacian Gugulanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costel Pacuraru in the 64th minute of the match. Radomir Czerwinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC Vlahuță's zone, Costel Pacuraru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dacian Gugulanu came out of the goal and Costel Pacuraru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 77th play minutes Costel Pacuraru shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Dacian Gugulanu and just under the crossbar into goal. After 79 played minutes FC BRADUL -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Edu Ramos. Esa Hagelberg took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marius Niculescu. Marius Niculescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Dorin Cârțan hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After 85 played minutes, FC Vlahuță's Gigi Miheș shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marius Niculescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Vlahuță reached it. Ionel Pârvulescu's late challenge caught a FC Vlahuță's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ionel Pârvulescu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th match minute, FC BRADUL -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionel Pârvulescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute, Costel Pacuraru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dacian Gugulanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After 93 minutes of play FC BRADUL -MM-'s Ionel Pârvulescu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 96th minute Petru Bute shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marius Niculescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Vlahuță's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
