Rony Dudu had several of the FC Viitorul Buzau's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Tiberiu Siniştean as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Royal's zone, Manole Domuță stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucrețiu Roșeanu came out of the goal and Manole Domuță tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tudor Pipirig scored 3-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucrețiu Roșeanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tiberiu Siniştean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavian Gherasescu in the 35th minute of the match. Tiberiu Siniştean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rony Dudu, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Virgil Panciu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Tiberiu Siniştean made a huge save. Diego Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tudor Pipirig was the one to do the kick off. Octavian Gherasescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Sporting Royal booed when FC Viitorul Buzau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manole Domuță didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sporting Royal's supporters rose to their feet, but Hu Fei Sha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiberiu Siniştean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Viitorul Buzau's Tiberiu Siniştean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavian Gherasescu in the 92nd minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Nichifor Dragota was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Viitorul Buzau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Royal the free kick. In the 95th match minute, FC Viitorul Buzau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nichifor Dragota to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sporting Royal fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Viitorul Buzau had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
