In the 6th minute, Florin Aalexoaiei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Nichifor Codruț had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 14th minute Nichifor Codruț shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucrețiu Roșeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucrețiu Roșeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichifor Codruț, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Nichifor Codruț took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucrețiu Roșeanu. Lucrețiu Roșeanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, F.C.BARLAD's goal looked a bit too open when Rony Dudu came free, but Wojtek Szczęsny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Sporting Royal's Octavian Gherasescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wojtek Szczęsny made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 30 played minutes F.C.BARLAD got a freekick which was hit by Sandu Brădescu. F.C.BARLAD's Wojtek Szczęsny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Dudu in the 30th minute of play. Lucrețiu Roșeanu made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Braulio Castel sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Braulio Castel got free with Lucrețiu Roșeanu in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wojtek Szczęsny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgil Panciu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wojtek Szczęsny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rony Dudu, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Celso Valadares made in the 43rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dorin Borza. Braulio Castel might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucrețiu Roșeanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The Sporting Royal fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Sporting Royal's Rony Dudu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Lucrețiu Roșeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichifor Codruț, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. F.C.BARLAD's Wojtek Szczęsny proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save F.C.BARLAD from getting a goal against them. After having played for 73 minutes, Nichifor Codruț managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C.BARLAD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nichifor Codruț was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sporting Royal's Ionică Predescu was substituted for Dorin Borza. The referee ignored Sporting Royal's protests and gave Celso Valadares a yellow card for diving instead.
