Spectators: 7974 (Terracing: 5982, Seating: 1834, VIP seats: 158) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tudor Pipirig started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Octav Poplăcan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The FC Viitorul Buzau fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when FC Viitorul Buzau's Manole Domuță looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 6th minute Manole Domuță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Strungă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10thth minute of the game Tudor Pipirig who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Minaur Baia Mare -MM-'s Marcel Strungă was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Minaur Baia Mare -MM-'s Dacian Leahu got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, Manole Domuță got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute Tudor Pipirig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Strungă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Minaur Baia Mare -MM- defense, Tudor Pipirig kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcel Strungă. The Minaur Baia Mare -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcel Strungă should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manole Domuță in the 19th minute of play forced Minaur Baia Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Marcel Strungă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel Strungă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manole Domuță, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Tudor Pipirig's late challenge caught a Minaur Baia Mare -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tudor Pipirig helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Viitorul Buzau's Tudor Pipirig got a free kick in the 24th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Viitorul Buzau fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! Emilian Ciolpan charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emilian Ciolpan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 38 minutes into the match, Tudor Pipirig notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Minaur Baia Mare -MM-'s Marcel Strungă. Marcel Strungă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcel Strungă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tudor Pipirig in the 42nd minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filipe Diegues made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Minaur Baia Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Marcel Strungă had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tudor Pipirig. In the 54thth minute of the game Florin Brânzaș who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Viitorul Buzau's Tiberiu Siniştean was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcel Strungă made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Tudor Pipirig sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 57 in the game by Tudor Pipirig from a close distance when the talented Marcel Strungă managed to make a qualified save. Minaur Baia Mare -MM-'s players were relieved. Dragoş Coidum kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Tiberiu Siniştean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Diegues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tudor Pipirig who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Marcel Strungă when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot 66 in the game by Tudor Pipirig from a close distance when the talented Marcel Strungă managed to make a qualified save. Minaur Baia Mare -MM-'s players were relieved. Filipe Diegues kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After 72 minutes, Tudor Pipirig made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Minaur Baia Mare -MM-'s Marcel Strungă tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Marcel Strungă managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when FC Viitorul Buzau's Tudor Pipirig fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tiberiu Siniştean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florin Brânzaș in the 79th minute of the match. FC Viitorul Buzau's Tiberiu Siniştean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florin Brânzaș in the 83rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Tudor Pipirig could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Marcel Strungă however easily saved by the left post. Tudor Pipirig's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcel Strungă firmly grabbed it by the left post. Minaur Baia Mare -MM-'s Marcel Strungă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tudor Pipirig in the 89th minute of play. Tiberiu Siniştean came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Minaur Baia Mare -MM-'s Filipe Diegues. But to his dismay, Filipe Diegues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florin Brânzaș in the 96th minute of play forced FC Viitorul Buzau's goalkeeper Tiberiu Siniştean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Viitorul Buzau played a much better game than Minaur Baia Mare -MM- and deserved their victory. The Minaur Baia Mare -MM- players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
