Spectators: 8015 (Terracing: 6013, Seating: 1843, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Felix Danciu started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Jean-Louis Wans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexandru Constantiniu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Loman's zone, Nicolae Zăvoiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandru Constantiniu came out of the goal and Nicolae Zăvoiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Traian Şimoc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Jean-Louis Wans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexandru Constantiniu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 26 minutes into the match, Jean-Louis Wans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexandru Constantiniu. Loman's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jean-Louis Wans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Loman's zone, Jean-Louis Wans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandru Constantiniu came out of the goal and Jean-Louis Wans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexandru Constantiniu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lluciano Somorrostro's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. A collision led to F.C. Ștefan cel Mare getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Jean-Louis Wans hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Lluciano Somorrostro managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Ștefan cel Mare's supporters rose to their feet, but Lluciano Somorrostro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandru Constantiniu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicodim Bran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valeriu Onete, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

53 minutes into the game, F.C. Ștefan cel Mare's Nicolae Zăvoiu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexandru Constantiniu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 57 minutes into the game, Eusebiu Năstase was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Loman's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. Ștefan cel Mare the free kick. Eusebiu Năstase hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Nicolae Zăvoiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandru Constantiniu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolae Zăvoiu ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Loman booed when F.C. Ștefan cel Mare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Louis Wans didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, F.C. Ștefan cel Mare's Ioan Stegaru got a free kick in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Danciu in the 63rd minute of play forced F.C. Ștefan cel Mare's goalkeeper Nicodim Bran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doru Lesnea charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Doru Lesnea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st minute, Doru Lesnea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute Nicolae Zăvoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandru Constantiniu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute Jean-Louis Wans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandru Constantiniu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Nicolae Zăvoiu notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Loman's Alexandru Constantiniu. Alexandru Constantiniu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Loman's Alexandru Constantiniu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Zăvoiu in the 89th minute of play. F.C. Ștefan cel Mare's Codrin Nițu got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Lluciano Somorrostro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the F.C. Ștefan cel Mare players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
