An unexpectedly hard shot by Rony Dudu in the 8th minute of play forced Minaur Baia Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Marcel Strungă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel Strungă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alin Dragalina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the game, Sporting Royal's Rony Dudu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcel Strungă made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rony Dudu in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcel Strungă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute of the match, Virgil Panciu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcel Strungă saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marcel Strungă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorin Borza in the 27th minute of play. Dacian Leahu kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Rony Dudus short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Marcel Strungă to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 32 minutes, Rony Dudu made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Minaur Baia Mare -MM-'s Marcel Strungă tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Rony Dudu sped through Minaur Baia Mare -MM-'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcel Strungă. In the 47th minute Edgar Caragea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucrețiu Roșeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rony Dudu made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Alin Dragalina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcel Strungă was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game.
