An unexpectedly hard shot by Cazimir Cantemir in the 10th minute of play forced SC Steaua Chitila's goalkeeper Mihnea Spelbu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dragoş Crăciunescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Kluivert in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisc Moți in the 14th minute of play forced Alcos Pascani FC's goalkeeper Dragoş Crăciunescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 minutes of play, SC Steaua Chitila's Patrick Kluivert made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dragoş Crăciunescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dragoş Crăciunescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisc Moți, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 21 minutes of play, SC Steaua Chitila's Patrick Kluivert made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dragoş Crăciunescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Alcos Pascani FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Robbie Newby hit a great ball. The supporters of Alcos Pascani FC booed when SC Steaua Chitila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Milcoveanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Codrin Jitaru's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mihnea Spelbu firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some careless play in the Alcos Pascani FC defense, David Milcoveanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dragoş Crăciunescu. The Alcos Pascani FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dragoş Crăciunescu should have stopped the shot. Robbie Newby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, SC Steaua Chitila's Mihnea Spelbu got control of the ball when Robbie Newby tried to sneak it across the goal line. Francisc Moți kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Ovidiu Plăcintă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Mihnea Spelbu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihnea Spelbu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robbie Newby in the 40th minute of the match. Mihnea Spelbu was a little too slow when Codrin Jitaru got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 1-4.

Alcos Pascani FC's Dragoş Crăciunescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Kluivert in the 51st minute of play. Mihnea Spelbu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robbie Newby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Alcos Pascani FC booed when SC Steaua Chitila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Milcoveanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cazimir Cantemir struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Mihnea Spelbu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. In the 59th minute, Francisc Moți fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dragoş Crăciunescu, passed just outside the right post. 61 minutes into the match, SC Steaua Chitila's goal looked a bit too open when Robbie Newby came free, but Mihnea Spelbu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Steaua Chitila's David Milcoveanu got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 92nd minute, Dan Jouanneau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mihnea Spelbu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codrin Jitaru in the 93rd minute of play. Codrin Jitaru took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mihnea Spelbu. Mihnea Spelbu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-6. The SC Steaua Chitila players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
