Arsenal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alcos Pascani FC the free kick. Reinaldo Ramalho kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 1-0 became the score in the 24th minute when Luis-Javier Durango elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Sven-Arne Rudkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robbie Newby in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Pavel Cârstea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Arsenal booed when Alcos Pascani FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robbie Newby didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Alcos Pascani FC's Olimpiu Creangă got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, Marcel Cioacă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arsenal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Robbie Newby scored to the left of an out of position Sven-Arne Rudkvist, making the score, 2-1. Sven-Arne Rudkvist came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Alcos Pascani FC's Cazimir Cantemir. But to his dismay, Cazimir Cantemir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After 73 played minutes Alcos Pascani FC got a freekick which was hit by Reinaldo Ramalho. 74 minutes into the match, Arsenal's Luis-Javier Durango sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dragoş Crăciunescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 80 minutes into the game, Cazimir Cantemir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Sven-Arne Rudkvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Alcos Pascani FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Reinaldo Ramalho hit a great ball. Alcos Pascani FC's Dragoş Crăciunescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis-Javier Durango in the 84th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 86 minutes into the game, when Reinaldo Ramalho put in a rough tackle. 85 minutes into the game, one of Alcos Pascani FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Arsenal a penalty, 87 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luis-Javier Durango, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Alcos Pascani FC's Dragoş Crăciunescu. 3-3. In the 90th minute, Alcos Pascani FC's Ovidiu Plăcintă ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sven-Arne Rudkvist. Sven-Arne Rudkvist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-4. 陈骋磊 hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Arsenal supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Alcos Pascani FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Alcos Pascani FC.
