Mircea Juverdeanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mircea Juverdeanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Josef Björnsson charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Josef Björnsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 48 played minutes, Decindeni AS's Denis Semeghin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mircea Juverdeanu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Decindeni AS reached it. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudiu Semeghin to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Rebel Division's zone, Dacian Luican stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mircea Juverdeanu came out of the goal and Dacian Luican tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Costin Musceleanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Mircea Juverdeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rebel Division's Victor Tunaru got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 77 played minutes Rebel Division got a freekick which was hit by Victor Tunaru. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Nicu Birișu sped through Rebel Division's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mircea Juverdeanu. Mircea Juverdeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dacian Luican, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 81st minute Dacian Luican shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mircea Juverdeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rebel Division's Mircea Juverdeanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Rebel Division from getting a goal against them. In the 85th match minute, Decindeni AS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgil Ghiță to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Decindeni AS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rebel Division throughout the match.
