When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Dinu Augustin put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kartal Oğuz. Axel Ekblom's late challenge caught a FC VULTURII LUGOJ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Axel Ekblom helped the player get up and apologised. Axel Ekblom kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Rafael Corrêas short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Kjell Ennegren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 16th minute Mauro Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Ennegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Kjell Ennegren successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gong Guang Yao got free with Kjell Ennegren in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kartal Oğuz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinu Augustin in the 26th minute of the match. Augustin Hurmuzescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell Ennegren having to interfere. Pavel Bosioc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kartal Oğuz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinu Augustin in the 45th minute of play. When Nechifor Mărăscu fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sepsiszentgyörgy's protests and gave Nechifor Mărăscu a yellow card for diving instead. Sepsiszentgyörgy:s Kjell Ennegren showed great skill when he stopped Rafael Corrêa:s penalty.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafael Corrêa to strike the kick off in the second half. Gong Guang Yao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell Ennegren having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Sepsiszentgyörgy's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Corrêa came free, but Kjell Ennegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kartal Oğuz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavel Bosioc in the 59th minute of the match. Kjell Ennegren came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC VULTURII LUGOJ's Rafael Corrêa. But to his dismay, Rafael Corrêa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Corrêa in the 66th minute of play forced Sepsiszentgyörgy's goalkeeper Kjell Ennegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Augustin Hurmuzescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kjell Ennegren was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 74th minute, Axel Ekblom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kjell Ennegren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gong Guang Yao in the 76th minute of the match. When FC VULTURII LUGOJ's Gong Guang Yao in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 84 played minutes Sepsiszentgyörgy got a freekick which was hit by Costel Stolnicu. Sepsiszentgyörgy made a substitution. Anton Bucur replaced Costel Stolnicu. The supporters of FC VULTURII LUGOJ booed when Sepsiszentgyörgy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costel Stolnicu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Costică Adam during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th minute, Philip Eklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augustin Hurmuzescu kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. FC VULTURII LUGOJ's Kartal Oğuz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavel Bosioc in the 95th minute of play. FC VULTURII LUGOJ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sepsiszentgyörgy for a fine match.
