In the 36th minute, FC. BRAILA-CHERCEA's Nichifor Ignea ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olimpiu Hârlău. Olimpiu Hârlău yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. With a little luck, Carpathian Wolves's Olimpiu Hârlău got control of the ball when Nichifor Ignea tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Carpathian Wolves were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nichifor Ignea to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Carpathian Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Nichifor Ignea came free, but Olimpiu Hârlău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olimpiu Hârlău made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Cresconio in the 58th minute of play.
