Waldir Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Schiau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, ABK Black Warriors73's Edgar Manolescu got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Eduardo Pereyra made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Pavel Hristea sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the match, Basarab Panduru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Waldir Gaúcho. ABK Black Warriors73's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Basarab Panduru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 91st minute, Gavril Bîndean ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eduardo Pereyra was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Eduardo Pereyra came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by ABK Black Warriors73's Gavril Bîndean. But to his dismay, Gavril Bîndean quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The ABK Black Warriors73 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ABK Black Warriors73 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
