After a rather tough play, Stoicii's Alexandru Stolniciu got a free kick in the 5th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Mugur Aldulea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stoicii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Cosula-BTF- the free kick. 14 minutes into the match, Olimpiu Teodorescu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Stoicii's Olimpiu Oncescu. Olimpiu Oncescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 18 minutes into the match, Stoicii's goal looked a bit too open when Petruț Dugulescu came free, but Olimpiu Oncescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute Olimpiu Teodorescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olimpiu Oncescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Horea Galiceanu fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stoicii's protests and gave Horea Galiceanu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Cosula-BTF- booed when Stoicii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horea Galiceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute of the match, Matei Comișel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ilie Brumaru saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Matei Comișel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stoicii's supporters rose to their feet, but Matei Comișel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilie Brumaru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ilie Brumaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudiu Popescu in the 41st minute of the match. Mugur Aldulea scored 1-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ilie Brumaru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Olimpiu Oncescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petruț Dugulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Stoicii's Olimpiu Oncescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Stoicii from getting a goal against them. In the 54th minute, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Olimpiu Teodorescu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olimpiu Oncescu. Olimpiu Oncescu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. The supporters of FC Cosula-BTF- booed when Stoicii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matei Comișel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olimpiu Teodorescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ilie Brumaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petre Potoroacă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the game, Aron Mitruț was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Cosula-BTF-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stoicii the free kick. The supporters of Stoicii booed when FC Cosula-BTF- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Mitruț didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilie Brumaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudiu Popescu in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to FC Cosula-BTF- getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Gheorghe Chițan hit a great ball. In the 76th match minute, FC Cosula-BTF- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Mitruț to maneuver through the defense. Matei Comișel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilie Brumaru having to interfere. The supporters of Stoicii booed when FC Cosula-BTF- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octav Buta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 88 minutes of play, Stoicii's Matei Comișel made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ilie Brumaru was left in no man's land by his defense there! Olimpiu Teodorescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olimpiu Oncescu having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Claudiu Popescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilie Brumaru was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Stoicii fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Cosula-BTF- had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
