Bogdan Bogdanović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nicu Berceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogdan Bogdanović, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Cássio Dracena who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Nicu Berceanu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of FC Buburuza booed when Club 23 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Robescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicu Berceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogdan Bogdanović, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After 45 played minutes Club 23 got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Bogdanović. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cássio Dracena was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Club 23's Bogdan Bogdanović got a free kick in the 54th minute. Sören Malmberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paul Antim in the 56th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bogdan Bogdanović in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicu Berceanu saved FC Buburuza from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cássio Dracena in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicu Berceanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Buburuza's Nicu Berceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Dracena in the 63rd minute of play. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Buburuza's goalkeeper Nicu Berceanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Bogdan Bogdanović came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Club 23 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bogdan Bogdanović couldn't finish the play. Club 23's Petre Ciolofan was substituted for Emil Cioran. FC Buburuza's Nicu Berceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Dracena in the 70th minute of play. When Petre Ciolofan fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club 23's protests and gave Petre Ciolofan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd minute, Petre Ciolofan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Buburuza's goalkeeper Nicu Berceanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Cássio Dracena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club 23's Sören Malmberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Club 23 from getting a goal against them.
