In the 12thth minute of the game Ferdinand Floroiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC ARGES's Adrian Carp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 12th match minute, FC ARGES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mircea Elefteriu to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Mugurel Caraiman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Floroiu in the 14th minute of play forced FC ARGES's goalkeeper Adrian Carp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Carp made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Ionuț Baicea sent off a good shot on target. Arne Võsandi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristinel Cosor in the 18th minute of the match. Adrian Carp was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Ferdinand Floroiu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ferdinand Floroiu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. FC Banat Steierdorf's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vintilă Busuioceanu in the 25th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ionuț Baicea got free with Adrian Carp in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 32 minutes into the match, FC ARGES's goal looked a bit too open when Valeriu Gavruță came free, but Adrian Carp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petrică Dragu in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Carp saved FC ARGES from getting behind. Arne Võsandi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matei Zbârnea in the 35th minute of the match. After having played for 40 minutes, Matei Zbârnea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC ARGES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matei Zbârnea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Petrică Dragu made a kick off. Ionuț Baicea took the ball and in the 50 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adrian Carp. Adrian Carp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 52nd minute, Ionuț Baicea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrian Carp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferdinand Floroiu's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Teodor Vâlcu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Arne Võsandi made a huge save. With an all-out effort, FC ARGES's Arne Võsandi threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristinel Cosor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of FC Banat Steierdorf booed when FC ARGES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurel Jerca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrian Carp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petrică Dragu, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After 70 played minutes FC ARGES got a freekick which was hit by Teodor Vâlcu. After 74 played minutes FC ARGES got a freekick which was hit by Matei Zbârnea. Teodor Vâlcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Arne Võsandi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Banat Steierdorf's Arne Võsandi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodor Vâlcu in the 94th minute of play. A hard shot 95 in the game by Matei Zbârnea from a close distance when the talented Arne Võsandi managed to make a qualified save. FC Banat Steierdorf's players were relieved.
