The FC Banat Steierdorf fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arne Võsandi should have stopped the shot. 15 minutes into the match, FC Buburuza's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Floroiu came free, but Nicu Berceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferdinand Floroiu made a kick off. Petrică Dragu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Nicu Berceanu made a huge save. FC Buburuza were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after FC Banat Steierdorf's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juan-Carlos Jubera took the corner. If Juan-Carlos Jubera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute.
