Augustin Bălăiță made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Ferdinand Floroiu sent off a good shot on target. In the 46th of the match, Ferdinand Floroiu tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Augustin Bălăiță got in the way and made a wonderful save. Arne Võsandi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabin Tatomir, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Adrian Trişcu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Arne Võsandi made a huge save. In the 60th minute, Adrian Trişcu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dan Scutaru took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arne Võsandi. Arne Võsandi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After having played for 75 minutes, Sabin Tatomir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gzpn Timisoara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sabin Tatomir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute, Emanuel Pârvan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabin Tatomir in the 78th minute of play forced FC Banat Steierdorf's goalkeeper Arne Võsandi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Gzpn Timisoara booed when FC Banat Steierdorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Pârvan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdinand Floroiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustin Bălăiță having to interfere. When Ion Donciu came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Gzpn Timisoara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ion Donciu couldn't finish the play. FC Banat Steierdorf's Ferdinand Floroiu got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gzpn Timisoara's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
