Krestoffer Grahavn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Floroiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 11th minute, Ferdinand Floroiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Banat Steierdorf fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 38th minute, YR☆Sporting Alexandria's Cezar Alexiu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arne Võsandi. Arne Võsandi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. In the 42nd match minute, YR☆Sporting Alexandria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mădălin Lepuș to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petrică Dragu in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Krestoffer Grahavn saved YR☆Sporting Alexandria from getting behind. After a rather tough play, YR☆Sporting Alexandria's Eduard Văleanu got a free kick in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Petrică Dragu was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, FC Banat Steierdorf's goal looked a bit too open when Dumitru Hârțan came free, but Arne Võsandi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The FC Banat Steierdorf fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arne Võsandi should have stopped the shot. Costin Tadici's late challenge caught a YR☆Sporting Alexandria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Costin Tadici helped the player get up and apologised. Costin Tadici kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute of the match Klement Golaszewski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arne Võsandi skillfully saved the ball. 75 minutes into the match, FC Banat Steierdorf's goal looked a bit too open when Iurie Goma came free, but Arne Võsandi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute of the match FC Banat Steierdorf got a corner. YR☆Sporting Alexandria's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Banat Steierdorf players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for YR☆Sporting Alexandria.
