The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Matei Zbârnea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Nicu Berceanu made a huge save. With a little luck, FC Buburuza's Nicu Berceanu got control of the ball when Matei Zbârnea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adrian Carp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Kadajas's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Matei Zbârnea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manole Atodiresei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Adrian Carp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mircea Elefteriu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Nicu Berceanu made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Manole Atodiresei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adrian Carp was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Mircea Elefteriu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A hard shot 33 in the game by Matei Zbârnea from a close distance when the talented Nicu Berceanu managed to make a qualified save. FC Buburuza's players were relieved. Adrian Carp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Kadajas in the 34th minute of the match. Manole Atodiresei scored 0-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adrian Carp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 37 played minutes FC Buburuza got a freekick which was hit by Panait Amuguroancei. In the 41stth minute of the game Bruno Kadajas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC ARGES's Adrian Carp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Matei Zbârnea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Nicu Berceanu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruno Kadajas made a kick off. Mugurel Căliman kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th match minute, FC ARGES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugurel Caraiman to maneuver through the defense. Nicu Berceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mircea Elefteriu in the 61st minute of the match. Nicu Berceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matei Zbârnea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pavel Gâfu charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pavel Gâfu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC ARGES booed when FC Buburuza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavel Gâfu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 minutes, Bruno Kadajas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Buburuza and the FC ARGES players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mircea Elefteriu took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicu Berceanu. Nicu Berceanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Mugurel Caraiman kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Nicu Berceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodor Vâlcu in the 79th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Kadajas got free with Adrian Carp in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd minute Matei Zbârnea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicu Berceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 minutes of play FC Buburuza's Pavel Gâfu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, FC Buburuza's Pavel Gâfu got a free kick in the 86th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manole Atodiresei in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Carp saved FC ARGES from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matei Zbârnea in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicu Berceanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute of the match FC ARGES got a corner. FC Buburuza's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristinel Cosor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Manole Atodiresei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
