Remus Marchiș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jatsu Odoardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remus Marchiș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codrin Alungulesei, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Virgil Oneț managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olympia SC Bucureşti's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgil Oneț was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remus Marchiș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Remus Marchiș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jatsu Odoardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Mihăiţă Cumpanașu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudiu Bădescu in the 12th minute of play. Viorel Zgîrţa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 20th match minute, Olympia SC Bucureşti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgil Oneț to maneuver through the defense. Olympia SC Bucureşti's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Codrin Alungulesei in the 37th minute. After taking down the ball on Olympia SC Bucureşti's corner Codrin Alungulesei fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Remus Marchiș quite easily take care of the ball. minerul -MM-'s Costel Marghescu suffered a sore thigh after 39 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 39 minutes into the game, Codrin Alungulesei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olympia SC Bucureşti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave minerul -MM- the free kick. After 39 played minutes Olympia SC Bucureşti got a freekick which was hit by Codrin Alungulesei. In the 41st minute, Valer Hăulică hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remus Marchiș came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Olympia SC Bucureşti's Grigore Cristoiu. But to his dismay, Grigore Cristoiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The minerul -MM- players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Olympia SC Bucureşti were winning 0-3.

The supporters of minerul -MM- booed when Olympia SC Bucureşti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Oneț didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute of the match, Codrin Alungulesei got a very nice opportunity to score, but Remus Marchiș was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mihăiţă Cumpanașu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudiu Bădescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Codrin Alungulesei got free with Remus Marchiș in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 72 minutes, Albert Ştati mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olympia SC Bucureşti and the minerul -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave minerul -MM- a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emanuel Petrică, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Olympia SC Bucureşti's Mihăiţă Cumpanașu. 1-3. 76 minutes into the game, Jatsu Odoardo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Remus Marchiș. Jatsu Odoardo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Codrin Alungulesei got free with Remus Marchiș in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigore Cristoiu in the 81st minute of play forced minerul -MM-'s goalkeeper Remus Marchiș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Olympia SC Bucureşti's goal looked a bit too open when Cristi Eftimescu came free, but Mihăiţă Cumpanașu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jatsu Odoardo had several of the minerul -MM-'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 85 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-5 score and a disappointed Remus Marchiș as he didn't even see the shot coming. minerul -MM-'s Remus Marchiș proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save minerul -MM- from getting a goal against them. Viorel Zgîrţa hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Jatsu Odoardo struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Remus Marchiș didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olympia SC Bucureşti. In the 96th minute of the match, Codrin Alungulesei got a very nice opportunity to score, but Remus Marchiș was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The Olympia SC Bucureşti players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
