Gigi Mitu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. George Giurcă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dan Dăscălescu succeeded in the game's 15th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Gigi Mitu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gigi Mitu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gigi Mitu made a kick off. The supporters of FC ciufulici booed when FC DACIA BRĂILA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigi Mitu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, FC DACIA BRĂILA's Nicodim Ţintă seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nicodim Ţintă the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC DACIA BRĂILA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nicodim Ţintă had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Nicodim Ţintă hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see FC ciufulici's Cezar Barboni in action when he in the 62nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 71st minute Manole Cudalb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurel Mironov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radu Enache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Giurcă having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Cazimir Maxim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucrețiu Oroian took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aurel Mironov. FC DACIA BRĂILA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 83rd minute Manole Cudalb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurel Mironov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marius Rusu kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Aurel Mironov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cezar Barboni went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Radu Enache struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. George Giurcă didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC DACIA BRĂILA. FC DACIA BRĂILA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
