Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell John Forsberg to make the kick off. Nechifor Baștină made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Lăzan in the 51st minute of play. Avram Spirache's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nechifor Baștină read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Avram Spirache left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The OTELUL GALATI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After 71 played minutes Academia D3c3bal FC got a freekick which was hit by Mugurel Nițescu. OTELUL GALATI's Zé Paulo Zanette got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mehmet Efe Vafi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilie Cârțan in the 76th minute of the match. If Ionel Mitu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nechifor Baștină made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Paulo Zanette in the 81st minute of play. Nechifor Baștină took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionel Mitu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Codrin Dersidan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Efe Vafi having to interfere.
