Spectators: 7975 (Terracing: 5983, Seating: 1834, VIP seats: 158) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sebastian Buzescu took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Santul FC's Rareș Arghir got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Aron Sandu scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Codruț Vasiloiu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Codruț Vasiloiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Sandu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rareș Arghir in the 13th minute of play forced FC Barcelona's goalkeeper Doru Opaina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Vasile Beraru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codruț Vasiloiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Codruț Vasiloiu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dacian Tutuianu went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Codruț Vasiloiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dacian Tutuianu in the 20th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Santul FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vasile Beraru came free, but Codruț Vasiloiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rareș Arghir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Doru Opaina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FC Barcelona getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Niculae Răcănel hit a great ball. 36 minutes in the game, Rareș Arghir fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Doru Opaina having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Sebastian Buzescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santul FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Buzescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the game, FC Barcelona's Lucas Faro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Codruț Vasiloiu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Buzescu got free with Doru Opaina in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

FC Barcelona made a substitution. Delfim Sampaio replaced Dacian Tutuianu. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucas Faro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Santul FC's Codruț Vasiloiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aytekin Ciner in the 53rd minute of play. In the 58th minute Rareș Arghir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doru Opaina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santul FC's Codruț Vasiloiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aytekin Ciner in the 60th minute of play. Aytekin Ciners short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Codruț Vasiloiu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Santul FC defense, Lucas Faro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Codruț Vasiloiu. The Santul FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Codruț Vasiloiu should have stopped the shot. Per-Erik Sjöberg succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-5 in the 65th playminute. 68 minutes into the match, Delfim Sampaio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Codruț Vasiloiu. Santul FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delfim Sampaio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. 74 minutes into the match, Aytekin Ciner dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Codruț Vasiloiu, 1-7. Codruț Vasiloiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per-Erik Sjöberg in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute, Delfim Sampaio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Barcelona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-8. FC Barcelona's Doru Opaina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rareș Arghir in the 84th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Aytekin Ciner kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Codruț Vasiloiu. That made the score 1-9 in the 86 minute of play. In the 90th minute of the match, Delfim Sampaio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Codruț Vasiloiu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gheorghe Lăzăroiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Codruț Vasiloiu made a huge save. Aytekin Ciner took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Codruț Vasiloiu. Codruț Vasiloiu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-10. FC Barcelona's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
