Spectators: 7968 (Terracing: 5977, Seating: 1833, VIP seats: 158) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when John Forsberg kicked off to start the match. In the 10th minute, Olimpiu Florei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the game, Aurelian Aanuţei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santul FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Academia D3c3bal FC the free kick. In the 12th minute, Aurelian Aanuţei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codrin Dersidan in the 13th minute of play forced Santul FC's goalkeeper Codruț Vasiloiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolae Diaconu scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Codruț Vasiloiu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sebastian Buzescu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nechifor Baștină firmly grabbed it by the left post. Academia D3c3bal FC's Nechifor Baștină proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Academia D3c3bal FC from getting a goal against them. Andrei Ungureanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codruț Vasiloiu having to interfere. Codruț Vasiloiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristide Hogaș, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 42nd minute, John Forsberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Academia D3c3bal FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Ilie Cârțan scored 2-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Codruț Vasiloiu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastian Buzescu to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrei Ungureanu got free with Codruț Vasiloiu in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. John Forsberg took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Codruț Vasiloiu. Codruț Vasiloiu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Codruț Vasiloiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilie Cârțan, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Aristide Hogaș's late challenge caught a Santul FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aristide Hogaș helped the player get up and apologised. Aristide Hogaș hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilie Cârțan in the 62nd minute of play forced Santul FC's goalkeeper Codruț Vasiloiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute of the match Sebastian Buzescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nechifor Baștină showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Codruț Vasiloiu was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Ilie Cârțan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ilie Cârțan really showed his touch with that goal: 2-5. After 70 minutes of play, Academia D3c3bal FC's John Forsberg made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Codruț Vasiloiu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ilie Cârțan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codruț Vasiloiu having to interfere. John Forsberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Codruț Vasiloiu made a huge save. Codruț Vasiloiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by John Forsberg in the 75th minute. A collision led to Academia D3c3bal FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Nicolae Diaconu hit a great ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Sebastian Buzescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santul FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Buzescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Academia D3c3bal FC's Nicolae Diaconu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-7. The Santul FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Academia D3c3bal FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
