After 9 played minutes Academia D3c3bal FC got a freekick which was hit by Gheorghe Bojin. In the 10th minute of the game Mugurel Nițescu made a throw-in which Andrei Ungureanu played forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Degryse got free with Nechifor Baștină in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rafael Degryse's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nechifor Baștină read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Nechifor Baștină showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Toribio, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Stoicescu in the 17th minute of play forced Haidarchioi AS's goalkeeper Iurie Drăghici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Nechifor Baștină successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A sloppy throw-in by Andrei Ungureanu in the 21st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Haidarchioi AS's Sven-Erik Hallgren. Sven-Erik Hallgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nechifor Baștină read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Haidarchioi AS were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Academia D3c3bal FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kristen Van Gestelt took the corner. The corner ended in Özal Sarp almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Academia D3c3bal FC's Nechifor Baștină did a great save. Haidarchioi AS's attentive Doru Petriceanu managed to snatch the ball when Gheorghe Bojin made a throw-in in the 27th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Özal Sarp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nechifor Baștină was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Nechifor Baștină made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özal Sarp in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Rafael Degryse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nechifor Baștină. Academia D3c3bal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafael Degryse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With an all-out effort, Haidarchioi AS's Nechifor Baștină threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Costin Lupoi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 41 played minutes Academia D3c3bal FC got a freekick which was hit by Aristide Hogaș. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Stoicescu in the 43rd minute of play forced Haidarchioi AS's goalkeeper Iurie Drăghici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nechifor Baștină took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özal Sarp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Academia D3c3bal FC booed when Haidarchioi AS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Zota didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Özal Sarp in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nechifor Baștină saved Academia D3c3bal FC from getting behind. The supporters of Academia D3c3bal FC booed when Haidarchioi AS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristen Van Gestelt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Angel Toribio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haidarchioi AS's supporters rose to their feet, but Angel Toribio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nechifor Baștină breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nechifor Baștină made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Degryse in the 58th minute of play. Academia D3c3bal FC's Nechifor Baștină played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özal Sarp in the 60th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Remus Stoicescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th match minute, Academia D3c3bal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristide Hogaș to maneuver through the defense. Nechifor Baștină showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özal Sarp, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Özal Sarp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nechifor Baștină having to interfere. Iurie Drăghici was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Codrin Dersidan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolae Diaconu's late challenge caught a Haidarchioi AS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicolae Diaconu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Haidarchioi AS booed when Academia D3c3bal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolae Diaconu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Academia D3c3bal FC's Lucrețiu Oloieru got a free kick in the 82nd minute. If Angel Toribio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Özal Sarp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haidarchioi AS's supporters rose to their feet, but Özal Sarp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Erivaldo Loyola kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. When John Forsberg came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Academia D3c3bal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Forsberg couldn't finish the play. Angel Toribio struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Nechifor Baștină didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haidarchioi AS. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Academia D3c3bal FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
