Cheng De Jing made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pierre-Alexandre Helsens in the 12th minute. GoldDiam V55's Cheng De Jing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Cresencio in the 13th minute of play. FC Brașov were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after GoldDiam V55's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Efe Ehil took the corner. Vlad Dragomir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Manole Hanganu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cheng De Jing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierre-Alexandre Helsens in the 20th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, FC Brașov's Pierre-Alexandre Helsens ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cheng De Jing. Cheng De Jing yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. De-la-Cruz De la Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cheng De Jing having to interfere. The tension between the GoldDiam V55 and the FC Brașov players grew even worse after the yellow card. 45 minutes into the game, Pierre-Alexandre Helsens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cheng De Jing. Pierre-Alexandre Helsens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Eliodor Barbosu made the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes FC Brașov got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Todoran. 59 minutes into the game, FC Brașov's Cristobal Cresencio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cheng De Jing made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Cheng De Jing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Todoran in the 62nd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, GoldDiam V55's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Todoran came free, but Cheng De Jing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Pierre-Alexandre Helsens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cheng De Jing was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. 76 minutes into the game, Dorel Ciorănescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GoldDiam V55's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Brașov the free kick. A collision led to GoldDiam V55 getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. The supporters of GoldDiam V55 booed when FC Brașov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludwig Van Castel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manole Hanganu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliodor Barbosu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manole Hanganu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Brașov fans cheered their team off the field, for while GoldDiam V55 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
