The audience thought a goal was coming when George Buzoianu got free with Serafin Vellito in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. George Buzoianu in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Serafin Vellito, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. George Buzoianu struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Serafin Vellito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Baia Mare -MM-. F.C. Baia Mare -MM- played a much better game than STEAUA86 and deserved their victory. The STEAUA86 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
