Valer Deliman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Manole Hanganu made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in FC Brașov's zone, Gabriel Răchitan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manole Hanganu came out of the goal and Gabriel Răchitan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by De-la-Cruz De la Cruz in the 20th minute of play forced Club Atlético Timișoara's goalkeeper Albert Bratiloveanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernest Todoran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Bratiloveanu having to interfere. Manole Hanganu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valer Deliman in the 26th minute of the match. Rareș Fânaru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manole Hanganu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Pierre-Alexandre Helsens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Bratiloveanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Timișoara's Valer Deliman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manole Hanganu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Brașov's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Timișoara the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Brașov's De-la-Cruz De la Cruz got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute, Edgar Mirciu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentine Tutorskiy kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Dinu Corlățean took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Manole Hanganu. FC Brașov's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rareș Fânaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Manole Hanganu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th match minute, FC Brașov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Cresencio to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute Cristobal Cresencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Bratiloveanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pierre-Alexandre Helsens in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albert Bratiloveanu saved Club Atlético Timișoara from getting behind. After 92 minutes, Costel Dima mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Timișoara and the FC Brașov players grew even worse after the yellow card. Costel Dima kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. FC Brașov's Efe Ehil couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Club Atlético Timișoara. FC Brașov played a much better game than Club Atlético Timișoara and deserved their victory. The Club Atlético Timișoara players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
