Mário Arce took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serafin Vellito. Serafin Vellito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, STEAUA86's Florentino Vargas got a free kick in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, STEAUA86's goalkeeper Serafin Vellito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mário Arce. Serafin Vellito stood somewhat misplaced when Mário Arce came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 24 minute. After some careless play in the STEAUA86 defense, Mário Arce kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serafin Vellito. The STEAUA86 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafin Vellito should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute, Fabian Josan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Curuțiu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-0 to the left of a surprised Serafin Vellito 33 minutes into the match. In the 37thth minute of the game Cristian Curuțiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but STEAUA86's Serafin Vellito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Serafin Vellito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Curuțiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serafin Vellito made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Mário Arce sent off a good shot on target. Mário Arces short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Serafin Vellito to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Serafin Vellito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Curuțiu in the 55th managed to get into a good position. FC Mihaesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Josan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafin Vellito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Serafin Vellito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Curuțiu in the 75th minute of the match. Serafin Vellito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mário Arce's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. When FC Mihaesti's Cristian Curuțiu in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye STEAUA86's goalie prevented a goal. 94 minutes into the game, FC Mihaesti's Cristian Curuțiu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Serafin Vellito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. There was no doubt that FC Mihaesti were the better team. FC Mihaesti's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
