The crowd rose to their feet as DINAMO PLOIESTI's Zlatan Ibrahimov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Manole Hanganu. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. DINAMO PLOIESTI's George Bălanescu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 23rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Manole Hanganu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Bălanescu in the 33rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ludwig Van Castel during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Manole Hanganu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zlatan Ibrahimov in the 57th minute of play. When Kunter Irmak, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 82 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Manole Hanganu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, DINAMO PLOIESTI's Ianis Hagi got a free kick in the 86th minute. Florentin Petre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. DINAMO PLOIESTI's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
